Tucked away down a quiet country track in Mortimer you’ve probably passed a hundred times, lies Flowerboy Farm—a blooming lovely little haven run by Mortimer’s very own flower wizard, Nick Corbin-Munroe.
Nick isn’t your average florist. He doesn’t buy in bulk or rely on flown-in stems. Oh no—he grows every single flower he sells, right here in local soil. From seed to stem, everything is nurtured by Nick’s own (very green) hands. Think of it as farm-to-vase floristry, with a wild heart and a local soul.
You may have spotted Nick (or his flowers) at Silchester Market, at village events, or even while popping in
for a pint at your local. We recently saw a few of his beautiful bouquets on sale inside The Butt Inn - £25 for a stunning hand-tied arrangement that lasted nearly three weeks!
Nick’s arrangements are always in tune with the season. Expect romantic ranunculus, joyful cosmos, ruffled tulips, scented stocks, fluffy dahlias, and nostalgic garden roses, all freshly picked and thoughtfully arranged. These aren’t your supermarket stems—they’re full of character, fragrance, and charm.
Prices start at £10 for a jam jar posy, with bouquets ranging from £25–£60 depending on size and occasion.
You can even treat yourself (or someone you love) to a flower subscription and receive a regular dose of petal-powered happiness.
What really sets Nick apart—aside from his magical way with flowers—is his commitment to keeping it local. With zero air miles, no harsh chemicals, and a whole lot of love, his flowers are good for the soul and the planet.
As he puts it, “You don’t just get flowers—you get a little piece of the farm. Frankly, we think he’s bloomin’ brilliant.
Nick’s blooms can be collected in person from the farm by appointment or he can also provide delivery services to Mortimer, Burghfield, Tadley, Bramley, Silchester, Pamber Heath, Baughurst, Little London, Beech Hill, Aldermaston and any of the Villages in between for a small fee.
