To keep it local with a sense of community, at Village Eye, we are always delighted to hear your news and stories.

You can send us news stories or articles for publication using the email below.  Please remember that we work at least one month in advance, with a copy date of around 9th of each month for the following issue. If you have a date-sensitive inclusion for us to consider, please contact us as soon as possible so we can look at which month your news may be best suited for.

We receive many requests for publication therefore space is at a premium and we cannot guarantee that your article will be printed.   When you send your story it will be reviewed by our editorial team and we will get back to you if we are looking to print it.   

The types of stories we look for are:

• Stories about charities, or individuals raising money for charities
• Teams and clubs
• Community news
• Special days for example, a special birthday  for someone in the community that does a lot for the community (or has done)
• Historical stories

Our community news is designed solely for sharing community news and efforts.  If your news is of a commercial nature or is PR-backed, we have a separate provision for this and will be happy to have a conversation.  In this case, please call 0118 933 3311

Please keep your email under 25MB,  you can use word for your story and any photography that you send must have the correct permission to use.   Any images that you send to us and we print must be approved for print so please bear that in mind.  If you want to send larger files, please use WeTransfer or a similar service.
