Although the hotel opened its doors in April 2025, the estate’s history stretches back centuries, with the surrounding area once forming part of Windsor Forest.

During the Second World War, West Court became a Special Training School for the Special Operations Executive, preparing agents for missions in occupied Europe. It later became home to the REME Officers’ Mess, adding another chapter to the estate’s remarkable story.

Today, you don’t need to book an overnight stay to enjoy its surroundings. Afternoon Tea is served in the elegant Drawing Room and is popular with hotel guests and local visitors alike. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, catching up with friends or simply enjoying an unhurried afternoon, it’s a lovely opportunity to sit back and indulge.
