WIN a Reiki Session with Tara Lee Consulting!
There are times when life looks perfectly manageable from the outside, yet inside your head it feels as though every drawer of the filing cabinet has been pulled open at once. You are keeping up with work, family, appointments and everybody else’s needs, but your own plans, ambitions and sense of direction have somehow become buried beneath the everyday.
Many of us are like ducks on a pond, appearing calm and capable to the outside world - but the reality is, we are paddling furiously beneath the surface simply to stay afloat. When that becomes your everyday reality, it is easy to feel stuck in a rut and unsure how to change it. The reassuring part is that you do not have to untangle everything by yourself, and the right support can help you find a clearer way forward.
Enter local life coach
Tara-Lee Nixon, whose job is to do exactly that, helping people move from feeling stuck and overwhelmed towards greater clarity, confidence and control. Tara works with clients who feel stuck in their personal or professional lives, lack confidence or direction, or have become disconnected from the goals and passions that once mattered to them. Others may be exhausted by people-pleasing, weighed down by expectations or simply ready for change without knowing where to begin.
Her motto, “Straighten your crown and remember who the f—k you are”, is bold, memorable and perhaps exactly the reminder many of us need.
Tara’s approach is not about giving generic advice or simply listening while you talk in circles. Through probing questions, active listening and practical, science-backed tools, she helps clients uncover their own answers and understand what may be holding them back.
That might involve exploring the experiences that have shaped them, identifying limiting beliefs, rebuilding self-worth or creating healthier habits that support emotional resilience. From there, Tara helps turn thoughts and ambitions into realistic action steps, moving clients from confusion to clarity and from hesitation towards progress.
Although her message may resonate particularly strongly with women who spend their lives juggling work, family and everyone else’s needs, life coaching can be valuable at any age and at many different stages of life. A change of career, retirement, separation, parenthood, an empty nest or a general sense that life has become more about functioning than living can all leave us questioning what comes next.
Tara offers dedicated one-to-one coaching, including a half-day “Stop Being Stuck” session designed to create the time and space needed to step back, look honestly at what is happening and build a clear plan for moving forward.
Sessions are available online or in person and are guided by Tara’s core values of trust, kindness, authenticity and respect. Alongside her coaching work, Tara also offers 60-minute Reiki sessions. Rooted in the Japanese tradition of channelling universal life energy, Reiki is practised by lightly placing the hands on or just above the body. The practice is gentle, non-invasive and deeply relaxing, offering an opportunity to pause and step away from everyday pressures.
